Why I didn’t ask Simi out despite my love for her – Samklef
Samklef, a controversial producer-turned-blogger, has revealed why he did not ask singer Simi out despite falling in love with her while they were both struggling artists.
He stated he almost asked her out after she broke up with one of her ex-boyfriends, but he didn’t because he wanted to keep his personal life separate from his professional life.
Samklef revealed this on Sunday through his X Twitter, writing, “I [heart emoji] Simi. I almost asked her out. When she split up with her ex, she went to Lekan to get experience that year. However, I had to maintain a professional demeanour and avoid spoiling the business.Adekunle, please assist me greet your wife for you. Life isn’t really deep.”
In another post, he claimed that the singer’s family treated him badly despite “everything” he did for her.
He wrote, “But Simi family show me pepper sha. After everything I do for her…I don forgive dem. That him over sabi brother where him
dey self?”
Simi is now married to her colleague, Adekunle Gold. The couple is blessed with a daughter named Adejare
