Selected Hopefuls to hit the Runways for Africa Fashion Week Nigeria 2022
More than sixty aspiring models hoping to achieve their dreams got a break on Sunday when they were selected after a rigorous screening process, at the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria Casting held last Sunday in Lagos.
Held at the Nike Arts Gallery Lekki Lagos, the event saw young female and male contestants display their creativity and catwalk dexterity as they were screened by judges: fashion designer Bayo Adegbe aka Modela, Zubby, and Toyin Lawani.
According to Princess Ronke Ademiluyi, Founder of Africa Fashion Week Nigeria, the lucky hopefuls, who would strutt the runway at the AFWN 2022, were selected for their age, catwalk skills, confidence, and overall carriage.
This year’s AFWN which is in collaboration with Lagos Fashion Fair, and is scheduled to hold September 7th-9th
at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, will feature Toyin Lawani’s masterclass, fashion exhibitions, and a runway showcase from designers across the globe.
