Police confirm shooting outside Drake’s house amid zxfeud with Kendrick Lamar
Following a suspected nighttime gunfire, an investigation is underway at Canadian musician Drake’s Toronto house.
Police roped off the OVO leader’ residence on Tuesday following a gunshot near his property that left one individual badly injured after being shot in the chest.
According to City News, police confirmed that the victim is not Drake and was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery.
On X, Toronto police said they received reports of a shooting about 2:09 a.m. ET in the city’s posh Bridle Path district.
The suspect apparently escaped in a vehicle, but no descriptions of either the person or the automobile have been offered as of yet.
According to sources, an investigation and further probe are currently underway.
While the motive of the shooting is unclear, it comes amidst the ongoing feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, both of whom have been releasing new diss tracks on a daily basis.
