Fireboy DML, an Afrobeats singer, has denied that he and his record label mate, Asake, are competitors. According to the ‘Peru’ singer, there is no competition on their record label, YBNL Nation.

In a recent interview with Max FM, Lagos, Fireboy said that there is a good working relationship between him, Asake, and their label boss, ace rapper Olamide.

Fireboy said, “I don’t think there is any competition in YBNL because everyone is on a different lane. We could all drop our songs one week from each other and nobody would be angry. There’s genuine love.

“There’s genuine brotherhood among us. There was a day Olamide and Asake helped loosen my hair. That moment was a very solemn moment for me. There is no competition in YBNL.”

The singer also said that YBNL Nation and its artists don’t get involved in industry brawls because their goal is to make money
