‘I’m sorry Nigerians, I will never do that again’ – Peller apologises

Popular TikTok personality Peller has broken his silence after his arrest and detention by the Lagos State Police Command over an incident involving dangerous driving and an alleged suicide attempt.
In a video circulated on social media, the content creator expressed remorse over his actions and appealed to the public for forgiveness, saying, “I am sorry, Nigerians.
Please, I’m sorry. I will never do that again. I’m very sorry, please. For now, I am on medication. Once I am done with my medication, I will be online.”
The controversy is reportedly connected to Peller’s recent split from his girlfriend, Jarvis.
Jarvis had earlier confirmed the end of their relationship, explaining that Peller’s difficulty with emotional control played a major role in her decision to walk away.
Confirming the development, the Lagos State Police Command said Peller was arrested after his actions were deemed a deliberate attempt at self-harm and a serious threat to other road users.
Police accounts indicate that the incident happened on Sunday, December 14, 2025, when Peller was allegedly seen driving dangerously while livestreaming on social media, an act that reportedly resulted in a severe accident on the Lekki–Epe Expressway in Lagos
